Description

Human trafficking (modern day slavery) is a mounting evil in our global society. Today there are 27 million slaves in the world, more than the total number of slaves ever before in human history. Men, women and huge numbers of children are being bought, sold, and used as merchandise, including millions forced into the commercial sex enterprise. The problem is huge in Asia. But the problem is not just in Asia. It is in Africa, Europe, Latin America and North America. God is stirring the hearts of His people to do something about this horrific injustice. Justice Initiatives is a new TouchGlobal ministry that is coming alongside the church to mobilize, equip, and network partners to address the issue of human trafficking. Together we can make a difference in combating human trafficking globally as well as in our own backyards. Come to learn how you and your church can make a difference. Trainer: Sharon Mall, TouchGlobal Director of Justice Initiatives and Kathy Austvold, North Central District Justice Initiatives Mobilizer
